TOKYO, July 15 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa said on Wednesday that recent improvements in financial conditions led the bank to extend its special measures to support corporate funding by three months instead of six months.
Shirakawa said keeping extraordinary measures in place even after economic conditions have improved could exacerbate swings in the economy. (Reporting by Hideyuki Sano, Tetsushi Kajimoto, Leika Kihara)
