Investing.com - U.S. factory orders fell in January, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, the U.S. Census Bureau said factory orders declined by a seasonally adjusted 1.4% in January, compared to expectations for a drop of 1.3%.
That was after 1.8% advance in the previous month that was revised up from an initial 1.7% increase.
Factory orders excluding transportation rose fell 0.4% in January, compared to the prior month’s 0.9% gain
December’s number was revised from an initial 0.7% increase.
