Investing.com - UK’s public finances rose more than expected in October, official data showed on Wednesday.
In a report, the Office for National Statistics said that UK Public Sector Net Borrowing increased to a seasonally adjusted 7.46 billion, from 4.43 billion in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 5.33 billion.
Analysts had expected the net borrowing to increase to 6.60 billion.
After the report, GBP/USD was trading at 1.3237 compared to 1.3245 prior while EUR/GBP was at 0.8853 from 0.8862 just before.
