Investing.com – U.S. Q4 GDP growth was lower than expected, preliminary official data Friday showed.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis initial reading showed GDP rose an annual 1.9% in the fourth quarter.
Economists had forecast fourth quarter GDP to rise at an annual rate of 2.2%.
In the third quarter, U.S. GDP was up an annual 3.5%.
The GDP Q4 price index was up 2.1% annually, in line with estimates.
Core durable goods orders were up 0.5%, also in line with estimates.
