Investing.com - A gauge of U.S. pending home sales rebounded strongly in February data on Monday showed.
The National Association of Realtors said its pending home sales index jumped 3.5% to 109.1 in February.
It was the highest level in 7 months.
Economists had expected a 1.2% increase.
January's reading was revised to show a 3% decline, which was deeper than initially reported.
The index tracks real-estate transactions before they become final.
