Investing.com - U.S. retail sales in October rose more than expected, data Tuesday showed.
Sales rose 0.8% in October from the previous month, the Commerce Department said.
Sales in September revised to gain of 1.0% from an initial reading of 0.6%.
Economists forecast a rise of 0.6% in October sales.
Core retail sales rose 0.8% against a forecast rise of 0.5%.
