Investing.com – U.S. core consumer price inflation was in line with estimates in February, official figures showed Wednesday.
The core CPI was up 0.2% from January when it was up 0.3%.
The February core CPI was forecast to rise 0.2% month-on-month.
The index was up an annual 2.2% vs. forecast rise of 2.2%.
The headline CPI in February was up 0.1% from January vs. a forecast rise of 0.1%.
It was up 2.7% year-on-year against a forecast rise of 2.7%.
