Investing.com - U.S. core retail sales fell unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Friday.

In a report, Census Bureau said that U.S. core retail sales fell to a seasonally adjusted -0.1%, from 0.3% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 0.4%.

Analysts had expected U.S. core retail sales to rise 0.2% last month.
