Investing.com – U.S. core annual consumer price inflation was lower than expected in October, official figures showed Thursday.
The core CPI was up 0.1% from September when it was also up 0.1%.
The October core CPI was forecast to rise 0.2% month-on-month.
The index was an up an annual 2.1% vs. forecast rise of 2.2%.
The headline CPI in October was up 0.4% from September, in line with forecast.
