Investing.com - U.S. personal spending rose less than expected in February, official data showed Friday.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis said personal spending rose 0.1% from January.
January's figure was confirmed at the initial reading of 0.2%.
Analysts had forecast a 0.2% gain in spending.
Personal income in February was up 0.4%, in line with forecast.
The January figure was revised to gain of 0.5% from an initial reading of 0.4%.
