U.K. retail sales -1.0% vs. -0.3% forecast

Investing.com - Retail sales in the U.K. fell more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Friday.

In a report, U.K. Office for National Statistics said that retail sales fell to -1.0%, from 1.3% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 1.7%.

Analysts had expected retail sales to fall -0.3% last month.
