Investing.com - The U.K. Department of Communities and Local Government house price index rose unexpectedly last month, industry data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, Communities and Local Government said that U.K. DCLG HPI rose to 6.2%, from 5.7% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 7.2%.
Analysts had expected U.K. DCLG HPI to fall to 6.4% last month.
