Investing.com - Switzerland's consumer climate indicator improved more-than-expected in January, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs said its index of Swiss consumer climate rose improved by 5 points to minus 19 in January from a reading of minus 24 in December.
Analysts had expected the consumer climate index to improve by 2 points to minus 22 in January.
Following the data, the Swiss franc was higher against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF easing down 0.14% to hit 0.9112.
