Investing.com - Retail sales in Switzerland rose less-than-expected in July, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, Switzerland’s Federal Statistical Office said that retail sales increased at annualized rate of 0.8% in July, missing expectations for a 3.2% gain.
Retail sales rose by 2.3% in June.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc remained lower against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF adding 0.11% to trade at 0.9384.
