Investing.com - Retail sales in Switzerland rose more-than-expected in March, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, Switzerland’s Federal Statistical Office said that retail sales increased at annualized rate of 3% in March, beating expectations for a 2.3% gain.
Retail sales growth in February was revised up to a 1.2% gain from a previously reported increase of 1%.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc was little changed against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF shedding 0.01% to trade at 0.8861.
