Investing.com - Switzerland's producer price index fell more-than-expected in October, official data showed on Thursday.
The Swiss Federal Statistical Office said its producer price index declined by a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in October, compared to expectations for a 0.2% drop. Swiss PPI inched up 0.1% in September.
Year-over-year, the producer price index fell at an annualized rate of 0.3% last month, compared to analyst expectations for a 0.2% decline, after holding flat in September.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc was lower against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF gaining 0.21% to trade at 0.9154.
