Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in Switzerland rose less than expected in September, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, the Swiss Federal Statistics Office said consumer price inflation inched up by a seasonally adjusted 0.1% last month, compared to forecasts for a gain of 0.2%. Swiss consumer prices were flat in August.
Year-over-year, Swiss consumer prices decreased at an annualized rate of 0.1% in September, compared to expectations for a flat reading, after rising 0.1% in August.
USD/CHF was trading at 0.9584 from around 0.9592 ahead of the release of the data, while EUR/CHF was at 1.2136 from 1.2138 earlier.
