Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in Switzerland accelerated more-than-expected in March, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, the Swiss Federal Statistics Office said consumer price inflation rose by 0.6% in March, above expectations for a 0.4% increase.

Year-over-year, Swiss consumer prices fell at an annualized rate of 1.0% last month, after declining at a rate of 0.9% in February. Analysts had expected year-over-year CPI to ease at an annualized rate of 1.1%.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc was flat against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF trading at 0.9159.
