Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in Switzerland rose for the second consecutive month in March, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, the Swiss Federal Statistics Office said consumer price inflation rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.2% in March, below expectations for a 0.3% increase.
Swiss consumer prices inched up 0.3% in February.
Year-over-year, Swiss consumer prices fell at an annualized rate of 0.6% last month, compared to expectations for a 0.5% decline, after falling at a rate of 0.3% in February.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc remained lower against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF adding 0.13% to trade at 0.9364.
