Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in Switzerland declined for the third consecutive month in January, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, the Swiss Federal Statistics Office said consumer price inflation fell by a seasonally adjusted 0.3% in January, in line with expectations.
Swiss consumer prices inched down 0.2% in December.
Year-over-year, Swiss consumer prices fell at an annualized rate of 0.3% last month, in line with expectations, after falling at a rate of 0.4% in December.
Following the release of the data, the Swiss franc remained lower against the U.S. dollar, with USD/CHF adding 0.1% to trade at 0.9212.
