South African retail sales 3.9% vs. 2.9% forecast
Investing.com - Retail sales in South Africa rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Statistics South Africa Head Office said that South African Retail Sales rose to 3.9%, from 3.4% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 3.3%.

Analysts had expected South African Retail Sales to fall to 2.9% last month.
