Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as in the sectors led shares .
At the close in Lima, the Lima Stock Exchange General unchanged 0.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Lima Stock Exchange General were Relapasa (LM:REL), which rose 10.56% or 0.019 points to trade at 0.199 at the close. Meanwhile, Sider (LM:SID) added 5.88% or 0.010 points to end at 0.180 and Aceros Arequip (LM:AREi) was up 5.41% or 0.020 points to 0.390 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intergroup (LM:IFS), which fell 2.29% or 0.680 points to trade at 29.000 at the close. Alicorp (LM:ALI) declined 0.83% or 0.050 points to end at 5.960 and Inretail Peru (LM:INR) was down 0.67% or 0.100 points to 14.800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 20 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.78% or 1.64 to $60.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.75% or 1.17 to hit $67.69 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.46% or 5.40 to trade at $1192.20 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.17% to 3.1465, while EUR/PEN rose 0.26% to 3.4952.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 95.27.
