Investing.com - The number of new building consents issued in New Zealand fell more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Statistics New Zealand said that New Zealand Building Consents fell to a seasonally adjusted -8.3%, from 7.1% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 7.6%.
Analysts had expected New Zealand Building Consents to fall to -3.5% last month.
