HONG KONG, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks fell on Monday, tracking other regional markets as broad investor concern about global economic growth weighed on stocks.
The Hang Seng Index <.HSI> ended down 0.44 percent at 20,889.01, closing below the key 200-day moving average resistance. The China Enterprise index <.HSCE> of top locally listed mainland companies fell 0.93 percent.
China Resources Enterprise Ltd <0291.HK> and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec) <0386.HK> both fell 1.6 percent, leading losses in resources shares on worries about demand in a slowing economy.
