Investing.com - Household spending in Japan rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Statistics Bureau said that Japanese Household Spending rose to a seasonally adjusted 1.7%, from 1.6% in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected Japanese Household Spending to fall to 1.2% last month.
