Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Utilities, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 2.36% or 0.1400 points to trade at 6.0750 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) added 2.10% or 0.190 points to end at 9.240 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) was up 2.06% or 0.30 points to 14.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which fell 7.09% or 1.96 points to trade at 25.69 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 0.50% or 0.13 points to end at 25.80 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 0.19% or 0.05 points to 25.67.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 133 to 48 and 10 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.63% or 0.33 to $51.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.61% or 0.31 to hit $50.13 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1257.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.61% to 1.0991, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.9014.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 97.92.
