Investing.com - The mood among German investors worsened in June, a survey showed on Tuesday.
The Mannheim-based ZEW research institute said its monthly survey showed its German economic sentiment fell to a negative 16.4 this month from minus 8.2 in May. That was compared to the consensus forecast for a reading of minus 14.6.
A separate gauge measuring investors’ assessment of the economy’s current conditions fell to 80.6 from 87.4 last month. That compared with the consensus forecast for a decrease to 85.0.
Meanwhile, the ZEW’s index of euro zone economic sentiment decreased to minus 12.6 in June from 2.4 a month earlier. Consensus was looking the index to fall to 0.1.
