Investing.com - U.S. existing home sales rose unexpectedly in October, industry data showed on Monday.
In a report, the National Association of Realtors said that home sales rose to 4.97M, from 4.90M in September.
Analysts had expected existing home sales to decline to 4.80M in October.
Following the data, the euro remained lower against the U.S. dollar with EUR/USD shedding 0.47% to hit 1.3463.
