Investing.com - The eurozone economy grew as expected in the third quarter, according to data released on Tuesday.
The European Union's statistics office Eurostat said gross domestic product in the euro area rose 0.6% quarter-on-quarter in the three months to September from 0.6% in the second quarter and by 2.5% year-on-year, up from 2.1% in the prior quarter.
Economists had forecast growth of 0.6% in the quarter and 2.1% year-on-year.
After the report, EUR/USD was trading at 1.1628 compared to 1.1633 prior.
