Investing.com - Retail sales in the euro zone rose less than expected in March, industry data showed on Friday.
In a report, Eurostat said that euro zone retail sales rose 0.1% in March from a 0.3% gain in the preceding month. February’s gain was revised up from an initial 0.1% advance.
Analysts had expected Euro Zone Retail Sales to rise to 0.5% in March.
Retail sales rose by an annualized 0.8%, compared to 1.8% in February. Economists had expected a reading of 1.9%.
