Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in China slowed last month, official data showed on Sunday.
In a report, National Bureau of Statistics of China said that China consumer price index (CPI) increased 2.0% year on year in February, down from 2.5% in January.
Analysts had expected Chinese CPI to fall to 2.0% last month.
Inflation rose 2.1% in cities and 1.7% in rural areas, the National Bureau of Statistics of China data showed.
On a month to month basis, China's CPI rose 0.5% last month from January, softer than the 0.8% increase that economists had expected.
