In a report, Statistics Canada said its new housing price index was unchanged in November, compared to forecasts for a 0.2% gain and following an increase of 0.1% in October.
Following the release of the data, the Canadian dollar was lower against its U.S. counterpart, with USD/CAD adding 0.37% to hit 1.0861.
