In a report, Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation said that Canadian housing starts rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 200.20K, from 175.90K in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 174.90K.
Analysts had expected Canadian housing starts to rise to 178.00K last month.
