In a report, Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation said that Canadian housing starts rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 180.70K, from 159.00K in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 160.60K.
Analysts had expected Canadian housing starts to rise to 175.00K last month.
