In a report, Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation said that Canadian housing starts rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 201.7K, from 183.3K in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 181.8K.
Analysts had expected Canadian housing starts to rise to 185.0K last month.
