Investing.com - Canada's economy grew more than expected in November, easing concerns over the country’s economic outlook, official data showed on Tuesday.
Statistics Canada said gross domestic product increased by a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in November, beating forecasts for growth of 0.3%. Canada’s economy contracted 0.2% in October, whose figure was upwardly revised from a previously reported fall of 0.3%.
USD/CAD was trading at 1.3048 from around 1.3078 ahead of the release of the data.
