Investing.com - The number of building permits issued in Canada rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian building permits rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 7.9%, from -2.8% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from -2.3%.
Analysts had expected Canadian building permits to rise to -1.0% last month.
