Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in Brazil rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, Instituto Brasiliero de Geografia e Estatistica said that Brazilian CPI rose to 5.95%, from 5.84% in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected Brazilian CPI to fall to 5.81% last month.
