Investing.com - Demand for company financing via bank loans in April posted the first quarterly drop in four quarters, according to the Bank of Japan's quarterly survey of senior loan officers at 50 banks released Thursday.
The index for corporate fund demand was plus-5 in April after rising to plus-8 in January.
The index showing household demand for funds jumped to plus-9 in April from minus-1 in January amid falling mortgage rates and other borrowing costs.
