Investing.com - Australian private new capital expenditure fell unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian private new capital expenditure fell to a seasonally adjusted -4.7%, from -2.1% in the preceding quarter whose figure was revised down from -1.2%.
Analysts had expected Australian private new capital expenditure to rise 0.8% in the last quarter.
