Investing.com - The number of new home loans granted in Australia rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian home loans rose to a seasonally adjusted 2.7%, from 1.7% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 1.8%.
Analysts had expected Australian home loans to rise 2.0% last month.
