Investing.com - Australian approvals to build new homes fell unexpectedly last week, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian Building Approvals fell to a seasonally adjusted -6.9%, from -4.3% in the preceding week whose figure was revised down from -1.1%.
Analysts had expected Australian Building Approvals to rise to 2.3% last week.
