WASHINGTON, June 16 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will lay out his administration's much-anticipated plan to reform the U.S. financial regulatory system at 12:50 ET (1550 GMT) on Wednesday, the White House said.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, members of Congress, regulators and representatives from the financial industry and consumer groups will join Obama at the event "to lay out a comprehensive regulatory reform plan to modernize and protect the integrity of our financial system," the White House said.
