Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Household, Construction and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which rose 3.47% or 0.033 points to trade at 0.984 at the close. Meanwhile, ThesKi Water (AT:TWSr) added 3.00% or 0.130 points to end at 4.470 and Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr) was up 2.94% or 0.120 points to 4.200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which fell 17.95% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.064 at the close. Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) declined 5.86% or 0.018 points to end at 0.289 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) was down 5.52% or 0.009 points to 0.154.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 51 to 48 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.36% or 4.79 to $1330.91 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $48.16 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.67% or 0.36 to trade at $54.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.03% to 1.1956, while EUR/GBP fell 0.76% to 0.9012.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 91.91.
