Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270), which rose 7.99% or 11.00 points to trade at 148.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 3.48% or 1.86 points to end at 55.25 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was up 3.09% or 0.78 points to 26.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which fell 5.71% or 1.40 points to trade at 23.10 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) declined 5.61% or 1.20 points to end at 20.20 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was down 3.72% or 0.66 points to 17.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 66.
Shares in Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.99% or 11.00 to 148.75. Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) fell to all time lows; down 3.72% or 0.66 to 17.10.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.48% or 1.41 to $55.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.44% or 1.51 to hit $60.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.30 to trade at $1167.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.1694, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.38.
