Investing.com - U.S. stocks were up after the closing bell on Thursday.
At the close of U.S. trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.95%, the S&P 500 index gained 1.28%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.04%.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets closed higher. France’s CAC 40 was up 2.12%; Germany’s DAX gained 1.32%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 2.22%; and the EURO STOXX 50 rose 2.19%.
