NEW YORK, June 22 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended losses on Monday as investors questioned the potential strength of an economic recovery, while resource shares were dragged down by lower oil prices.
* The Dow Jones industrial average fell 132.56 points, or 1.55 percent, to 8,407.17. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 18.69 points, or 2.03 percent, to 902.54. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 44.52 points, or 2.44 percent, to 1,782.95.
