BRUSSELS, March 18 (Reuters) - Greece will not be able to sustain its planned deficit cuts if it has to continue borrowing at high rates, Prime Minister George Papandreou said on Thursday.
He told a committee in the European Parliament that action taken by Athens to resolve its fiscal problems showed it was committed to the stability of the euro and that Athens was respnsible for sorting out its own problems.
"We should be able to borrow at rates that are normal," he said.
