In the first week of October, Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine, will consider a draft law that amends the national tax code, proposing tax immunity for all cryptocurrency market participants till the end of 2029.
The bill was brought forward by independent MP Yuri Derevyanko, a representative of Ruh Novyh Sil (the Movement of New Forces Party). The draft law envisions an income tax exemption for earnings generated through transactions in crypto assets. The relief measure would apply to both individuals and corporations and would be in force until December 31, 2029.
