“The Metaflower Super Mega Yacht” NFT was sold for a record price of 149 ETH (around $650,000). The NFT was made by a developer from Realm Metaverse Real Estate, which offers a portfolio of digital real estate across 13 metaverses.
The digital asset is a part of The Fantasy Collection that offers luxury NFTs. It was made for Sandbox, the leading NFT-based decentralized gaming virtual world built on Ethereum; the digital yacht is so far the most expensive NFT in the ecosystem.
The Metaflower yacht can fit 10,000 Bored apes and includes a DJ booth, pool, heli pad, hot tub, boat garage, and many other amenities. Creators call it “The Crown Jewel Of The Metaverse.”
Auction for the digital megayacht took 6 days, just 12 hours before the sale was finalized, the highest bid was 5.82 ETH.
